    Hi Leblanc,

Might be, due to the corruption issues in OST file you are not able to access it. So as I first recommendation, go and repair it using "scanpst.ost" and then try to simply open it MS-Outlook.

Take more help from the given source:

You can also perform import function to access the data of OST file in Outlook as this function transform all the database of OST file to your current Outlook Data File.

Feel free to respond back for further assistance!!

My thoughts is that this OST file is an offline folder file in Microsoft Outlook
One of the biggest differences between OST files and the personal storage table (.pst) files used by Microsoft Outlook for managing POP3, IMAP and web-based mail accounts is that unlike PST files, OST files are tied to the mail account configuration and cannot be opened or backed up individually.
    To further your knowledgeable
Here is a a detailed of the OST files. The do's don't and can't

How to Convert OST to PST?
Offline Storage Table (OST) files are the mirror-images or replicas of your user mailbox on the Exchange Server.
If the user mailbox is deleted from the Server, the OST file saved on your computer becomes orphaned.
In such a case, if the original MS Exchange profile is not altered then the user can still work with the MS Exchange client (MS Outlook) offline using the OST file created earlier.
The data in the old OST can be easily recovered by moving the messages from OST to PST.
However, in this case, if the old profile too is deleted or altered (by logging on to a different mailbox or creating a new profile) then the data saved in OST file is lost.
