I am receiving warning to update the DL to latest exchange 2010 version but in the end it accepts my request to update manage by section for DLs to add or change owner of the mail enabled DL groups

Can this be done via powershell? I have about  36 groups I need to add a member to managed by section of the DL?

    You can either update all groups
    Get-DistributionGroup –ResultSize Unlimited | ?{$_.ExchangeVersion -notmatch "\(14.0"} | Set-DistributionGroup –ForceUpgrade

    Open in new window

    Or if you have the list of groups the you can use..
    GC C:\groups.txt | %{Set-DistributionGroup –identity $_ –ForceUpgrade}

    Open in new window
