Which is the best option to update Citrix Receiver Server address, is either GPO or PNAAgent Manage server settings?

Hello there,

We are aggregating Web Interface across multiple farms. Which is the best option to update Citrix Receiver Server address (URL), is either updating registry via GPO or 3rd party deployment consoles (Altiris/SCCM) or PNAAgent Manage server settings choosing the Site redirection option - redirect when the Citrix online plugin configuration is refreshed.

Please advise.

Thanks and Regards

Hey,

I'm not quite sure what you are trying to do here?? Do you have the PN Agent that points to a specific Web Interface for adding applications into the start menu of your Windows machines and are these applications being published?

And if so, what version of PN Agent are you using??

Citrix Online plug-in version is 12.1 and we need to change the server URL address.

Hey,

I believe it is done best by creating a custom template yourself. I wouldn't go about using third party tools if the best thing you have is using Group Policies for this. But i guess that preference, isn't it?

I would only attach the .adm file to the policy attached to the workstations you would like to add this setting to.

And for reference, this was from the following article.
