i am trying to create a report in excel using SSAS cube as a source. when i use more than 4 dimension attributes the performance is very poor . Also i am placing attributes from one dimension side by side.
when i create a trace using sql profiler i see that MDX generated is having cross joins . how can i get rid of these cross joins or is there any alternative for this. please help.
