mails going to deleted folder ?

sometimes the outlook email goes directly to the 'deleted folder'.. why could this be? (outlook 2010)

The same sender's other emails come to the inbox.. it is just that some of the emails go there...

I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

If some go to "deleted" and others from the same sender do not, it often indicates corrupt rules. Make a note of your rules, delete all rules, close Outlook, restart the computer and remake the rules.

Could potentially also be a result of any local SPAM or other filtering software.

Hi Friend,

In addition of above expert’s comment, I would like to suggest you to disable the scanning programs (antivirus & firewall) as they cause such disturbance.

Also, If there are any third party plug-ins currently running with Outlook, then also disable them and see the result.

Take more help from the given article: http://www.msoutlook.info/question/20
