I need to order more tapes for our Tivoli Storage Manager System. Is there a script or command I can use to get a list of the onsite and offsite listing of tapes currently being used by Tivoli Storage Manager 5.5 ? This is on a Windows Server by the way.

    Accepted Solution

    Hi, on the admin console run ;

    q libv

    You'll see what tapes are being used for what by which tape pool.

    The last two characters should tell you the LTO version. To check the LTO drives version, run ;

    q dr f=d

    And check out the ULTRIUM entries

    Cheers, JP.

    Slight correction ;

    q volume

    Will give you the storage pools, not

    q libv

    Cheers, JP
