Email Frequency for Workflow

Dear Experts,
I created a workflow in SharePoint that will send alert to servers owners to 'view and approve' patches to their servers. This will help me patch only the servers which are approved by their respective owners.

Is  there a way to automate workflow to trigger  email alerts every 12 hours to the users who have not approved. This will help me to do less follow-ups. I want SharePoint to do the follow-ups for me. Thank you.

User SharePoint Designer to build your workflow. Create steps that compares the approval field, if not approved, send an email, pause for 12 hours, compare the field again, send email again, pause again, etc.

    Hi Chad,
Thank you for the quick response. Will this settings effect globally?

Right now I am only targeting a sub site (IT team site). We are using SharePoint 2013.

    Hi Polly,
We are a restricted environment. But I will try to see if I can install SharePoint designer.
