How to link Clearpass Guest Self-Service Portal to Windows 2008 AD Server

Hi,

I am setting up the Aruba Clearpass Guest Self-Registration Portal and encountered a problem of authenticating the user credentials to a windows 2008 AD Server.

Anybody experienced this issue?

First of all - why link guest self registratiron to AD? The self registration is when users create their own guest user automatically.
Or do you need a sponsors approval of user account?
And what error?

Please detail a bit more on what you're trying to achieve :-)

Hi Jacob,

Thanks for the reply.

The self-registration portal has a link to the guest login form and that is where i encountered the problem.

I have already managed to find out the issue and have resolved it.

Apparently I need to untick one of the boxes in the self-registration form to be able to authenticate via an external server.

Currently now its working.

Thanks again for the reply.

For clearpass guest log in using an AD account, need to untick the box that blocks authentication using an external server. It is stated in the comments in the form.
