Adding 1TB Hard Drive to PowerEdge 2970

I'm trying to get this disk to show up in Disk Management but I'm not sure how to get it added.
I really just wanted it to be a standalone for file server space but it looks like I'll have to raid it, right?

Can someone let me know what I need to do to get this online?
Windows Server 2008R2 x64

Here are some print screens from Dell OpenManage

The PERC 6 does NOT support non-RAID, so all drives must first be configured in an array before they are presented to the OS.  The only RAID level that will accept a single drive is a RAID 0.  Click on the PERC 6, go to the Information/Configuration link at the top of the page, then select Create/New from the dropdown menu of Available Tasks for the controller.
