Does netbeans with all options selected download

work with python for debugging?

I asked a similar question about finding debuggers (netbeans was not in the answer) so I do not need debugger suggestions, only an answer about netbeans because already installed in my computer

It can be done, but it is difficult.  You are sort of on your own.

Why not download, install, and run the default IDLE gui?

I will use portable python debugger and avoid netbeans for now.
