How do I get the MAC address of an ILO 4 that is offline?

How do I get the MAC address of an ILO 4 that is offline?

I do have the unique identifier number of the ILO4, that I retrieved from the Hardware tab off the VMWare host.

Offline as in "not connected to the network" or "not power up".   If not powered up, you'll simply have to find the sticker.
If the number you found is in the form XX:XX:XX:XX:XX:XX, then you have already have it!  If not, what form IS that number in?

If not connected to the network, and no sticker...  well, I don't think IP config would work for ILO:  If not available in the BIOS, my only idea is to connect it to a DHCP server.  Once DHCP assigns an address, you can check the DHCP server for the MAC address.

Hi nurturer69,
I agree with Korbus, the simpliest way is to check the sticker.
If not you will have to reboot and enter in the ILO settings (often F8 key when asked at POST).
