How to access an arsenal database (dbisam?) from within vb6

I am using point of success POS.  It uses an arsenal db server.  I think this is a dbisam database, but not sure.

I use VB6 and want to access this database using an odbc driver.

you have to install the odbc driver, and then connect using odbc. here's an Explanation Page.

you can download the odbc driver from: here (you need to register for a new account to download files)

then you access the database like you use with any other database using odbc.

example: db.connectionstring = "odbc=yourodbcname;uid=dba;pwd=yourpassword"
