"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

We are not sure about your environment to recommend.
AD Recommendations : Assuming you may be having sites and create separate DR site and place your additional domain controller in that site and ensure the replication takes place properly every 1 / 2 hour.  In LAN keep FSMO roles separately on the each domain controller to improve the performance and for that would be sufficient for DR. Ensure periodical backups of system state on Domain Controller.

Exchange : We can recommend if we know the exact version.
