I need a little direction on the best way to create a SharePoint application page that has connected content. I need to have a web part that lists all of my contacts in a database. when you select a contact name from the list, it populates another web part with further information for that contact.

I know there's a number of different ways to do this - can anyone give me some advice on the best way to tackle this please?

Thanks in advance for the help
