one pc keep disconnecting network at cool boot

I have one pc every time boot up and login into windows ,it always show network card disconnected, but after I unplug the jack from computer back and plug it back ,then it connect  to the network right away, I have test cable , cable has no problem. the pc is using windows XP pro, Dell desktop.all other machine don't have this issue. any idea for that?

    Are you willing to plug the cable to another point (at the source side).
    Seems there is issue with the Machine NIC, If its the issue then in another point it will behave the same else your connecting point has some issues.

    I guess its self explanatory that there is NIC or JACK issue because as soon as you unplug and plug the JACK back it start working.

    Also try running TCP/IP Reset in case it is a network stack issue.

    Open cmd.exe with Run as Administrator
    Then  netsh int ip reset c:\resetlog.txt
    Also, ipconfig /flushdns followed by net stop dnscache followed by net start dnscache

    Now restart the computer and test
