Using .net c# to build 2 separate websites and they both need access to a folder on the windows server which contains image files. So file reference would have to go to root and then out to folder ..root/sharedfolder/image/<wbr />filenames.<wbr />jpg<br />

In addition whilst the websites are being developed, I would like to be able to access the folder but the local development doesn't use IIS, if that is used a s solution to first part.<br />
