Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Is there a setting in Gmail - delete once I have read an email ?

As I said previously,  you can set it up to show only Unread mail. Are you sure they are deleted.  Have you used the search to try and find them?

There isn't a setting I know of, but one could set up a filter to auto delete read emails.  Although,  to do this you would have known you did it.
