Hello:

In SQL Reporting Services (SSRS) 2008 R2, what are some reasons as to why a report subscription will not work?

Make sure your SSRS is configured for the email Delivery:
How to: Configure a Report Server for E-mail Delivery (Reporting Services Configuration)
http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms345234(v=sql.105).aspx

and check these common problems with subscription delivery:
- The SQL Server Agent job is not firing
- RS is not processing the subscription events
- SMTP is not delivering the emails
- The report or subscription is invalid
