DNS Setting.....

So I might be losing it, but when setting up a DNS/Domain Controller; why am I having to set PCs DNS on the NIC cards? Can I not leave it to "auto" being it's on the domain?

Did you configure option 6 on your DHCP server? Check this thread, it might help you on your way.

Is the DNS authorized and enabled in active directory, if not the computers on the network will not be able to use the DNS
