publish website to local IIS
I'm using VS2008 and trying to publish a website to my local instance of IIS. I've installed IIS successfully and can open browse to the localhost, which opens the iisstart.htm page.
I have my website project that I've built in VS2008 and I can open the site using the default web server inside of the VS2008 and it works great.
Now, I'm trying to publish it to my local IIS server, but it is coming up page cannot be displayed. Not sure what I'm doing wrong? I'm thinking it is permission related within IIS.
I've removed my virtual directory so I can start again. See the two images of my project in VS2008 and my IIS manager.
I've walked thru several articles on how to set this up to no avail.
Any help is appreciated.
Thanks.
