Adobe CS6 photoshop lag

I have a user that started having trouble with Photoshop CS6 lagging a week or two ago. Everything was fine before that. She reports that all the other adobe apps are working fine. The machine has been used for a couple of years now with no trouble and has a SSD. What possible solutions are there for this?

If it's during the opening, have you recently added many fonts?

If it's during usage, there is a brush lag that people have run across,

I installed more RAM in the users computer and this significantly made the issue better. I am also installing a video card on Thursday and hoping that will be enough to fully resolve. The issue has only had the issue once in two weeks since I installed the RAM but before, she was having the issue every day.
