Copying Wordpress Theme

Hi, i have a theme set up on one of my sites. I've made several changes to the theme over the last few weeks, mainly css changes.

I'd like to use the exact same theme on another site that i am setting up.

This might sound like a very silly question, but can i just copy (download) the theme from my first website /themes/ directory and upload it to my new second site, and then just activate it.

Should this work?

Thanks in advance for your help

Yes, you should be able to do that, copy the theme-folder completely and upload it to the themes folder on your other host/website.

thank you

It will mostly work.  The CSS will be preserved as will the HTML but any customizations added through WordPress itself (e.g. Header image, backgrounds, widgets) will not transfer.

Thanks Jason.
