"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

It could be that the app is having a hard time displaying the thumbnail image of the clip art. What happens when you click on one of the items with a red X on it?

If it's just having trouble displaying the clipart, try updating your video card driver. Otherwise, try disabling the hardware graphics acceleration:
1.  In your Office app, click on File > Options > Advanced.
2.  In the "Display" section, check "Disable hardware graphics acceleration"

Thanks for the response, I was able to resolve the issue. I ran this RunDll32.exe InetCpl.cpl,ClearMyTracksByProcess 255 and that cleared it all up. Turns the user had years of stuff in his temp folder and stopped the initial cleaning process cause it was taking too long to complete.
