How to make my windows 8 files a bootable DVD

I would like to make my Dell Optiplex 980 a media center on my TV.

I have Win 8 Pro 64-Bit but I have the files on a DVD and it's not bootable, how can I make it a bootable disk? It's not an *.iso file it the folers, i.e.: boot / efi / sources / support

Is Windows 8 better for a media center than windows 7?

Rather than a bootable DVD, you could make a bootable USB stick. That is easier than creating a DVD is you don't have the iso file. The link below explains how, basically it shows you how to format the stick so it gets bootable, and then you just copy the folders and files to it:

No, Windows 8.x isn't better for a media center than Windows 7, as the media center software isn't included. You'd have to buy it as a separate option.

Personally I think Linux is better for media centers than any m$ OS though.

I had my solution with my own comment before I got the other one. I didn't try the other one but had everything done in about 15 min.
