Office 2007 - reinstallation

My OS is win 7 prof 64 bit, and I have Office 2007 installed on my pc, which is a HP Think Centre M72e.  I think my Outlook 2007 has piggy backed a virus which I could not able to delete, despite having MS paid support.  Thus, I am thinking of uninstalling, maybe just Outlook 2007.  But I have tons of email in my msn free account and I use Outlook as my email client.   My MSN email account is installed as an MAPI account.
How do I retain all my emails intact but uninstall just only the Outlook 2007 and reinstalling it again.  I had copied all the office 2007 program files to my 2nd int HD as I have 1 TB of space on it.
Can I install the programs again from this HD without a problem.
Next is the MS ID, do I copy the present ID and use it in the reinstallation of the software.
OR is there a specific process to follow when doing this, like I have to inform MS etc.
Thank u for your advise.

Hi J,
Can you log into MSN confirm that the server has retained (stored) all of the emails that you want to access at a later date.???

If you are using MAPI then yes the emails are stored on the server.  You will need the installation media AND the product key to reinstall Office and its components.  You can from add/remove programs select change and remove outlook, reboot and then from the same place in office select add/remove features and add outlook

in response to 10023, I see tons of emails on the Server.  So I guess everything must still be there.  Thank u for your suggestion.
