Hi guys,

We've got few used SUN SPARC servers, and we wish to perform a full HW diagnostics on them, in order to decide what their resseling value.

Anyone is familiar with SUN diagnostics utility or any other method to get an insight of those servers?

Thanks in advance

Quickest way would be to install a supported copy of Solaris (Sparc) on the servers.

Thanks Andrew, how much time it should take?
    Any other tool?

    15-30 minutes.

Personally I would say they are scrap value, and just worth the metal content!

We've just scrapped ours, because vendors interested in purchasing wanted to know every last part number of motherboard, cpu, disk, memory module, before they would give us a quotation for price!

In the end, because we were not going to waste our time in obtaining this info, they said £5 GBP, so we said - scrap then!
