Need some help with WSUS configuration

I configuring a new WSUS server 2008r2 WSUS version 3.2.7600.226. In options/computers I have selected to "Use Group policy or reg settings on computer". I assumed that it would stucture WSUS/computers in the structure of my AD OU groups but it didnt they were brought in as unassigned computers and none of my AD OU's sturcture came in. Have I misunderstood how this should work or is something wrong?

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

create the group in WSUS
if you have the GPO client-side targeting group called Marketing then create a group in WSUS called Marketing and the systems will be placed in there automatically
it doesn't go by the AD OU structure but by client-side targeting in the GPO

Thanks for the information, if that the case I will probably just bring them in WSUS and create the groups for the PC's/servers.
