xml question

Hi,

How do I uncomment this in the xml file and change to ssl?  Do I remove both sets of  --  and change the port to 443?  Also, what is the protocol information that should be added?

 -->
        <!--
            <Connector port="8443" protocol="my.domain.coyote.http11.Http11Protocol"
              maxHttpHeaderSize="8192" SSLEnabled="true"
              maxThreads="150" minSpareThreads="25"
              enableLookups="false" disableUploadTimeout="true"
              acceptCount="100" scheme="https" secure="true"
              clientAuth="false" sslProtocol="TLS" useBodyEncodingForURI="true"/>
        -->

Since you use Linux ports <1024 are usable by root user only. So you need some reverse proxy to not run java as root

The easiest way to uncomment is to move the closing comment upwards, like this:

        <!--
        -->
            <Connector port="8443" protocol="my.domain.coyote.http11.Http11Protocol"
              maxHttpHeaderSize="8192" SSLEnabled="true"
              maxThreads="150" minSpareThreads="25"
              enableLookups="false" disableUploadTimeout="true"
              acceptCount="100" scheme="https" secure="true"
              clientAuth="false" sslProtocol="TLS" useBodyEncodingForURI="true"/>
