Is there anything in the event viewer (error message) that have anything to do with issue? Is the Windows Backup service started? Do you happen to have any other issue with the server (slow read performance on disks could also be a disk issue in general).

I have used Window 2012 backup but I have problem starting it today. It shows &quot;reading data...&quot; under Window 2012 backup but it never return any data. The attached storage works fine and backup data is there.<br />

Reboot the server but I still get the same problem. Any idea ?<br />

Windows Server 2012 is the server version of Windows 8 and the successor to Windows Server 2008 R2.
