Activating dedupe on Windows server 2012 R2, 4 node cluster

Hi

We have a HP C3000 with 4 blades which have MS 2012 R2 and are clustered.
Storage is; EVA4400, MSA2000 and a iSCSI 1200Aio (all HP)
Presentation is done in one big volume per storage system to each server, then each VMs vhd/x is stored there.

Should I activate dedupe on the actual nodes ?

Thanks,

Dedup of storage for Hyper-V VMs is only supported on 2012 R2 for client VDI scenarios. But if that is the case, you only need "activate" dedup on one node, preferably the orchestration node. The role feature must be installed on all roles for failover to succeed, however. Once turned on, any other node will be aware of the dedup volume in a failover event.

Just to clarify.

As I have VMs SQL, Exchange, File Server etc, this is not supported?

(I ask because I am not familiar with VDI (yet))

Running dedup on a hyper-v host (clustered or not) with those workloads is not supported.
