Run Anti-Malware. I just downloaded it, ran the trial version as it gives you more features and searches for more infections a little deeper than the free version. Like I said run it in safe mode once downloaded and installed.

All good suggestions above related to MBAM, once you are done with MBAM I would recommend running Adwcleaner. Link below

Post the logs once the cleanup is done.
Thanks,
Sudeep

@Rindi, explain to me why you wouldn't run it in safe mode? That's where the infections will have a higher chance of detection.
The tool as far as I'm aware don't tell the user to boot to safe mode to rerun the scan.

No, as lots of malware isn't active or loaded while the OS is in safe mode, it can't be detected then. Many need to be active and running for MBAM to be able to find it. A long time ago when it was possible to distinguish malware by simply reading the file's signature, that was possible, but today's malware often can't be recognized any longer simply by comparing it's signature. Check the mbam forums, for example this thread:

Dear all thanks for the update, did purchase Malwarebytes Anti-Malware and installed and did complete scan while this caught many and quarantined good but even now when browsing ev2pub.adk2.net this page opens and it is a blank page and than onwards only I get the actual page which I had keyed in for search, please suggest to fix this.
Rindi, ive used it many times in safe mode in the first instance and its worked everytime. Also there are lots of forums also stating that's the best way to do it. Also d_wathi so when you go on the Internet you're being redirected somewhere else?
Well, then you have learned something new. Although it may work in safe mode, it just won't find as much malware that way and it won't be half as effective. Those forums that state running it in safe mode is the best way running it are just wrong.
download and install malwarebytes, then run the scan in Safe Mode that way infections will be detected and removed with no hassle as Safe Mode is in 16 bit.
Also ensure the machine is off the network when doing the infection removal, make sure if you have any other machines on the network that they're protected and also scanned as infections can spread fast.
