Excel 2010 not allowing me to paste with functions

In Excel 2010, when I try to do a copy and paste from one workbook to another, I get the message you see in the first screen capture of the attachment explaining that I will not be able to paste the functions only the values. In the second screen capture of the attachment is a listing from the task list of what I have running and as you can see it is showing 2 different icons for XL 2010. But I am trying to paste from the Main Trust workbook to the July 2014 workbook when I get the error message. Why am  I getting 2 different sets of icons, and since I am not in protected view, that I know of, I don't see anything stating such in the title bar or anywhere, am I not able to paste formulas or functions from one workbook to another?
