Hi, I have just migrated to Outlook 2013 from Lotus Notes. I am trying to figure out how (or if) I can somehow color code my emails based on who they are from. For example, I want emails from my manager to be highlighted a certain color. I want emails from the management team to be highlighted a different color. I've tried using the View > View Settings menu, but I'm doing something wrong obviously. Thank you!

    Accepted Solution

this can be done with Rules,

click on Rules , then Manage Rules and alerts ==>> New Rule ==> Start from blank rule ==> in that select Apply this rule after message i receive==> select from People or public group ==> here you select your manager email id ==> then click on next ==> Assign it to the category ==> click on Category and select color code which you required.
