Which laptop encryption software is best?

HI I planing to go and introduce a encryption on all company laptops used in past true crypt and Symantec few years back  and had bad experience any of you have any god one that works and works

I looking as well to see if it is possible remote wipe device

Depending on the version of Windows you're running, Bitlocker might  be what you're looking for. It's not going to pass the true tinfoil hat test because it's made by Microsoft and not subject to open source scrutiny, but it's a pretty solid solution both for encrypted file containers and full disk encryption.

So basically truecrypt is dead and shouldnt be used any more. There are loads of posts and conspiracy about what happened and why. We currently run PGP encryption for a company of approximately 2000 users. We have had it running for about 4 years now and have never had a problem with it. Upgrades are quite easy as well as password resets/unlocks.

I just wanted to add a small question: what bad experience did you have with TC or symantec's product (which product, by the way)? Knowing that will help find a suitable solution, maybe.
