We are running vCenter 5.1. We recently upgraded our vCenter SQL version to standard edition because it normally comes with SQL express which has a limit of 10GB database size, and 50 VMs. We are expanding our VMs, and thus had to upgrade to standard edition.<br />

Since the upgrade, we now have a warning in vCenter Service Status:<br />
Performance statistics rollup from Past Day to Past Week is not occurring in the database.<br />
Performance statistics rollup from Past Week to Past Month is not occurring in the database.<br />
Performance statistics rollup from Past Month to Past Year is not occurring in the database.<br />

Additionally, I cannot see any historical statistics on performance. According to VMware, this started happening when we upgraded to SQL standard edition. <br />

What is the fix for this?

vCenter Database rollup

VMware, a software company founded in 1998,  was one of the first commercially successful companies to offer x86 virtualization. The storage company EMC purchased VMware in 1994. Dell Technologies acquired EMC in 2016. VMware’s parent company is now Dell Technologies.

VMware has many software products that run on desktops, Microsoft Windows, Linux, and macOS, which allows the virtualizing of the x86 architecture.  Its enterprise software hypervisor for servers, VMware vSphere Hypervisor (ESXi), is a bare-metal hypervisor that runs directly on the server hardware and does not require an additional underlying operating system.
