Urgent Turn off offline files /redirection windows 8.1

I turned on folder redirect in SBS 2011 and it slowed the system logon to a crawl.
I turned it off on the user properties ,but when the user logs in ,it's still slow.

Any quick fixes on the client?

The nature of folder redirection is that files get moved from the current location to the new location at logon. How did you configure it? I believe that there is an option to leave files in place when the policy no longer applies, or to copy the files back.

My suggestion is to leave the policy in place. It is only the first logon for the user at the workstation that is slow. Their next logon at the same computer will take the normal amount of time.

There is no way after turning the polcy off that it reverts to default.
I ended up having to manuals rest the paths.
