What is the difference between running the Directory Sync Configuration tool &amp;&nbsp;the 365 Microsoft integration in Server Essentials (in Dashboard)?<br />

A few weeks ago, I installed the 365 Microsoft integration from the Essentials dashboard &amp;&nbsp;couldn't complete the dir sync configuration ?<br />
<br />
How do they interact? Do you I need to install one or another or both?<br />
<br />
I have noticed that with the dir tool installed, it only sync one way, from AD to 365, &nbsp;I was expecting to sync between both platform?<br />
<br />
I also noticed that when I had the Essentials integration service, I could see the users that where setup in the cloud?<br />
<br />
All that is a bit confusing, really hoping to get some answers for clarification<br />

Office 365 is a group of software plus services subscriptions that provides productivity software and related services to its subscribers. Office 365 allows the use of Microsoft Office apps on Windows and OS X, provides storage space on Microsoft's cloud storage service OneDrive, and grants 60 Skype minutes per month.
