how do you control the automatic locking of Windows 7

I need to be able to control or removed the lock time on Windows 7 clients. Currently our display computers time out at some uncontrolled time.

I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

You probably want your display computers on all the time.

Start, Control Panel, Power Options, select your plan, Change Plan settings:

Put Computer to Sleep:  Never.
Turn Off Display: Never.

Those two settings should keep your computer on and running.

Thanks, that worked. I have changed the group policy and I got off track thinking that had something to do with it.
