Could not find installable ISAM.

When trying to connect to an MS Access 2010 database file using VB.NET I am getting the error:
"Could not find installable ISAM"

I'm using the following:
Window 7 Pro 64bit
Visual Studio 2013
MS Access 2010 database file
Connection String = "Provider=Microsoft.ACE.OLEDB.12.0; DataSource=/Resources/offLineTags.accdb; Persist Security Info=False;)"

I have installed the 2007 Office System Driver: Data Connectivity Components but still get the same error

Thoughts?

I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Use back slashes instead of slashes for the DataSource argument.   See if that works.

OK.   Most common cause then is just what the error message says; it doesn't have the isam component it needs.

To get that, download and install this:

Microsoft Access Database Engine 2010 Redistributable

I tried that but it wouldn't install.

if I run the 32bit version it says I can't because I have 64 bit Office installed, if I run the 64Bit version it says I can't because I have 32 Bit Office installed. I definitely have 64Bit install of Office.

At this stage I'm not going to fight this any longer, I have decided to use a local text file for the temp storage I need as I'm running out of time to get this solution in place

Thank you both for trying to help
