I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Quest's stuff integrates into powershell. So simply start powershell as a different user.

I shift right click on : %SystemRoot%\system32\WindowsPowerShell\v1.0\powershell.exe
,
selected RUN AS DIFFERENT USER
,
log on using Domain Admin Account
,
think it still runs with normal account - -
Keep seeing Access Denied messages ,

You have not elevated, have you? With UAC on, the domain admin is treated as normal user until he elevates. So you should runas cmd.exe via rightclick option "run as administrator" and then start powershell from there using runas.exe and your domain admins credentials, then no more access denials will appear.

Sorry, run as different user with shift rightclick does not elevate automatically.
