Wavelink TelnetCE keyboard

I have a Motorola 9190 running on TelnetCE 7.0.147. When i click the "BKSP" (backspace) button, it just move the cursor from right to left without deleting the word. Is there a way to configure it to backspace and delete the text instead?

    Sounds like you don't have the right kind of emulation configured.  For an IBM i / iSeries / AS/400 connection, you should be configured for 5250 emulation and a 5250 keyboard mapping.  

    Look under Host Profiles at Host Type, and make sure it is set to IBM 5251-11.

    Looks like there is also a Keyboard Creator tool that allows you to do custom keyboard mappings, so it is possible someone overrode the default settings.  Look at the WaveLink TelnetCE User's Guide for specific instructions:
