We have Windows 2012 Dc and Window 7 PCs in our network.
I am trying to find a  software that will shutdown the PCs in the evening and Wake up next day in the morning for the PCs in school.

Can anyone point me if there is any open source software or can this be done through GPO.

Something like this might do the trick:

I haven't found any way to turn a machine ON at a specific time using GP.

Can you us the BIOS feature for each machine and set it to turn on at a specific time? If you have a large environment i understand this can be difficult to accomplish but it can be part of your deployment SOP from now on. Just tell the BIOS to turn the machine on at your required time.

Here is a link to shutdown the PC using GPO.

Either way it requires a bios modification:
Wake on Lan is one option the Power Options to start at a specific time are another.

If you're looking at centrally waking up PCs from an off state, you're going to be using Wake-On-LAN using the BIOS modification David suggested. Most central power management software will handle this for you.
