How to enable local printers, local C:\drive and USB drives to map in Citrix XenDesktop session via Citrix policy?

Hello there,

How to enable local printers, local C:\drive and USB drives to map in Citrix XenDesktop session via Citrix policy?  We have XD 56 farm.

Please advise.

    Im not quite sure if USB drive is attached on the fly with XD 56, i thought you needed to have at least XenApp/Desktop 6 to have HDX (which means on-the-fly attachement of USB devices).

    First you go to Citrix AppCenter on one of the Citrix servers, then go to Policies and then to the tab user. You can use the default policy (meaning it will be applied to all users) or create a new one and assign it to a specific group of users, it's up to you.

    Then, in the policy go to settings.

    C Drive --> File Redirection --> Auto connect client drives
    Printers --> Printing --> Client printer redirection
    USB Drive --> USB Devices --> Cliet USB device redirection.
