Mail Archiving

We are looking for a system of archiving email that clients can easily do within Outlook and is easy to use and can work in conjunction with SQL or Exchange.  The two links below are what we are looking for but recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

I would suggest Mailstore, as the search engine is quite amazing (http://www.mailstore.com/en/mailstore-home.aspx).
Try Mailstore Home first for personal use (archive your own imap/pop, and use the search to see how fast it finds and returns results). No integration in Outlook, just a seperate program.
If you like the speed, then you can go for the Mailstore Business (installed on the Exchange server, or better, seperate server. Now you can install the Outlook plugin (so it's integrated now for the business users).
Configure a few bits here and there (AD integration, user rights, archiving rules, indexing of pdf/docx/xlsx/doc/xls/txt etc etc), and enjoy:
1. Lean mean Exchange (as you only keep a few months of messages)
2. Good backup (can easily copy the whole archive and database without the need to do anything with Exchange)
3. Faster search for users (no more slow Outlook searching), also INSIDE the attachments.

From the top of my head, it shouldn't be more that 20 bucks a user a year (for a business license).

Great. That is reasonable and it has the Outlook plugin so it is looking good so far.
