1) Is your Server up to date?
2) Will it crash on a clean boot?

Choose Windows 7 as it is similar: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/929135

3) Run the System File Checker tool:
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/929833/en-us

I was talking to the admin that was patching and he was not done.  But when he finished patching it works now.
