I am getting ready to install cumulative update 5 for Exchange Server 2013. I have a few questions regarding this.

1. How much disk space is required to install the update?
2. Does Exchange require a reboot after installation?

If anyone has experience installing CU5 and see any issues etc,

Thank you.

    Accepted Solution

If you have to ask about disk space, then you don't have enough.
Exchange needs at least 10gb of space at all times to operate correctly, so as long as you have that, you will be fine.
As for a reboot, sometimes it asks, sometimes it doesn't. I always reboot whether it asks or not.

Simon, thanks for your response. However we did manage to create more disk space to add a buffer against any back pressure.
We were able to install the the CU6 on the server without any issues.
