I've developed a TON of intranet systems using web forms + vb.net. Now I've got a client asking me to make him an ecommerce site.
I slapped up a wordpress website and installed woocommerce in about an hour. However, I really dislike PHP. Worse yet, I'm one of those awful people who never learned C# and have been working in asp.net + vb.net for 10 years.
So.... what do you folks recommend I do? Should I just ditch the project and hire someone who knows woocommerce, or should I install nopcommerce and learn MVC (yep, don't know that either and can't seem to wrap my head around it), or is there a solution out there that fits my skill set?
