I've developed a TON of intranet systems using web forms +  Now I've got a client asking me to make him an ecommerce site.

I slapped up a wordpress website and installed woocommerce in about an hour.  However, I really dislike PHP.  Worse yet, I'm one of those awful people who never learned C# and have been working in + for 10 years.

So....  what do you folks recommend I do?  Should I just ditch the project and hire someone who knows woocommerce, or should I install nopcommerce and learn MVC  (yep, don't know that either and can't seem to wrap my head around it), or is there a solution out there that fits my skill set?

    Accepted Solution

What I have learned with shopping cart and ecommerce is this is very long to set and usually client need a lot of custom work. You may also consider the application is responsive for mobile device and easy to find nice theme.

I like Opencart a lot very flexible with VQMOD , easy to set and a lot of payment gateway, nice template (responsive).
    but it is PHP.

I never worked with ASP but a friend of mine use
