Will Symantec_Endpoint_Protection_12.1.4_MP1b_Part1_Installation_EN.exe run on Windows 2012?

Is Symantec_Endpoint_Protection_12.1.4_MP1b_Part1_Installation_EN.exe compatible with Windows 2012. I checked Symantec they say 12.1_RU4 is Windows 2012, but can't find the download. They always take me back to Symantec_Endpoint_Protection_12.1.4_MP1b_Part1_Installation_EN.exe

Symantec_Endpoint_Protection_12.1.4_MP1b_Part1_Installation_EN.exe is the only "b" file available. You need to use Symantec_Endpoint_Protection_12.1.4_Part2_Tools_EN for Part 2.

Other than that it should work. I am using on Windows 8.1 Pro and on Server 2008.

So Symantec_Endpoint_Protection_12.1.4_MP1b_Part1_Installation_EN.exe, and Symantec_Endpoint_Protection_12.1.4_Part2_Tools_EN for Part 2 afterwards?

I think you can do it either way, but I would do it your order: MP1b first and Part 2 second. I think that is a good way to go.

When ransomware hits your clients, what do you do?

MSPs: Endpoint security isn’t enough to prevent ransomware.
As the impact and severity of crypto ransomware attacks has grown, Webroot fought back, not just by building a next-gen endpoint solution capable of preventing ransomware attacks but also by being a thought leader.

Is the second part "Symantec_Endpoint_Protection_12.1.4_Part2_Tools_EN" or "Symantec_Endpoint_Protection_12.1.4_MP1_Part2_Tools_EN"

If it is Symantec_Endpoint_Protection_12.1.4_MP1_Part2_Tools_EN, already expanded the files, ran the setup and after loading files the progress window disappears and no wizard appear. I was thinking compatibility issue.

I only have (and I only saw) MP1a and MP1b Part 1 and _Part2 Tools. So I would install Symantec_Endpoint_Protection_12.1.4_Part2_Tools_EN.

Are you saying that does not install?  If so, then I suggest you call Symantec Support.

I'm a little confused about what you're doing. You can "install" the tools separately; it isn't a separate program, it's a set of tools that are part of the full program installation on the server that is going to run the SEP Management Console for your network.  The proper way to install Symantec Endpoint Protection on a server:

1.  Download the two files that you've mentioned. These are ZIPPED files that contain the full set of files and folders that are needed to install SEPM and SEP.
2.  Extract both sets of files to the SAME installation folder.
3.  Run Setup.exe from that folder and install from there. This will give you the option to install the SEP Management Console, which is the first step in deploying SEP on your network.

Once the SEP Management Console is installed, then you need to configure it with the policies you want to use and then push out the client program to your other servers and workstations.

Also, in Symantec parlance (which can be very confusing) SEP 12.1 RU4 is the same thing as 12.1.4. The MP1 or MP1b is the fourth part of the release name.  SEP 12.1.4 MP1b is actually release 12.1.4112.4156.  It's only taken me about 15 years of using Symantec antivirus products to figure this out ;-)
