Configure eclipse with selenium webdriver on Apple mac

Hi Experts:

I have an Apple Macbook.  I am not very familiar with Macbooks.  I am a windows person.  I need help in configuring Eclipse with Selenium webdriver on Macbook.

I understand that first I must have Java installed.  When I click on Apple > About this Mac > More info > Software applications: I find among the list the following Java entries:
•      Java VisualVM
•      Java Web Start

I started with installing Java on my mac first, before installing Eclipse and then, Selenium, are these two items sufficient?

The reason I ask is that on my other mac I have the following items under Apple > About this Mac > More info > Software applications:
•      Java Preferences
•      Java VisualVM
•      Java Web Start
•      Java(™) Platform SE binary
•      Java(™)Update Checker
•      Java(™) Converter
•      Javaeoutil
•      JavaMOnitor
•      javaPLaybackManager

Can you please guide me thru the step by step process to setup selenium webdriver on Macbook?

Thanks,

Java:
It looks you have java installed on your macbook. To ensure this, go to command prompt and run below command.
java -version

If this is not working then install java by referring http://docs.oracle.com/javase/7/docs/webnotes/install/mac/mac-jdk.html.

Eclipse:
Download eclipse from http://www.eclipse.org/downloads/?osType=macosx and install it.

Selenium:
Once you have java and eclipse installed, then include selenium webdriver by referring http://www.softwaretestingmentor.com/selenium-tutorials/how-to-setup-selenium-webdriver-in-eclipse-ide/
