Hello,
I am a web designer quite new to the hosting field, but I am eager to learn! I would like to use the Plesk control panel. I have been looking at Google App Engine and Google Compute Engine, and wondering if there is any way to install Plesk on one of these platforms so I could have my own reseller hosting. I'll be honest, I'm not a developer, and the Linux command line is somewhat foreign to me.  I see that GoDaddy has a reseller hosting plan, but I would like to stay away from them and operate a little more on my own. There are so many options, DigitalOcean, Google, AWS, GoDaddy. I'm feeling a little confused. I would appreciate some thoughts, ideas, advice, assistance, even a point in the right direction. Thanks so much!

Plesk is product of parallels virtualisation platform. There is no way it will work with google, amazon, openstack, vmware or hyperv.

@gheist I was actually referring to the Plesk control panel, which works similar to cPanel/WHM.

Yes, Plesk is part of parallels virtualisation offering, it is not installable product like whm or cpanel

It's talking about "installing" Plesk?
I was basically wondering if there is any way to run Plesk as an app on App Engine? Thanks!

Yes, you can download and install it, then you buy their subscription (5$/month for basic edition)
Normally it pays off for parallels virtualisation provider where it is included for free.

Check webmin - it does at least part of what plesk or cpanel does.

Would there be any way to run one of those on App Engine, or would I have to install it on a VPS?
